As part of the recruitment process, Webpac S.A. collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants. We are committed to being transparent about how we collect and use that data and to meeting its data protection obligations.

Your personal data will be processed lawfully, fairly and transparently.

What information do we collect?

Webpac S.A. collects resumes of applicants, and any information they want to share / include in their application.

Your personal data will be collected only for specific legitimate purposes.

Webpac S.A. has a legitimate interest in processing personal data during the recruitment process and for keeping records of the process. Processing data from job applicants allows us to manage the recruitment process, assess and confirm a candidate's suitability for employment and select the right candidate for the job. We may also need to process data from job applicants to respond to and defend against legal claims.

Your personal data is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary.

There is no other known use of your data other than that described here in this Privacy Policy. We store only the information required for recruitment purposes as described.

Your personal data must be accurate and kept up to date.

Who has access to data?

Your information may be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process and managers in the business area with a vacancy.
We will not share your data with third parties, unless your application for employment is successful and we make you an offer of employment. We will then share your data with former employers to obtain references for you and/or employment background check providers to obtain necessary background checks. Data will not be transferred overseas.

Your personal data is stored only as long as is necessary.

Personal data of candidates is kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary. If your application for employment is unsuccessful, we will hold your data on file for 6 (six) months after the end of the relevant recruitment process. At the end of that period, or once you withdraw your consent, your data is deleted or destroyed. You will be asked when you send your CV whether you give us consent to hold your details for 6 months in order to be considered for other positions or not. Furthermore, candidates have the right to object and ¨the right to be forgotten¨ or to request the withdrawal of their application. They can do this by sending an e-mail to jobs@webpac.com, then the data will be modified or erased accordingly.

If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your Human Resources file (electronic and paper based) and retained during your employment.

We ensure appropriate security, integrity and confidentiality for your personal data.

Webpac is committed to handling your data securely. Communications to our servers are encrypted. Passwords are never stored or transmitted as plain text. There is appropriate physical security around your data.

To ensure appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, recruitment data are encrypted and cannot be accessed except by our employees in the proper performance of their duties.

What if you do not provide personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to Webpac during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.
