The project brief was to empower the 100-strong sales team with CRM data on the go, so all vital customer data was at hand during face-to-face customer visits. The ability to capture data from the customer and feed it directly into the CRM system was also required, as well as sharing other vital sales and marketing resources with the team.
The Webpac team built seamless connectors with Macfarlane Packaging’s own CRM system allowing data to flow both in and out via iSalesToolkit running on iPads. The project was successfully deployed to 100 salespeople in just 6 weeks. Each salesperson had their own personalized toolkit with data from their customer accounts updated on a daily basis. Webpac was subsequently hired to create a wide range of powerful toolkits for both iPads and interactive touch screen displays, a relationship that persists to this day.
