The Document Manager has three easy ways to upload files. A single file upload allows one file to be uploaded from your hard disk and does not require any special plug ins. The multiple file upload requires Java to be installed on your computer and allows a paste of files from your hard disk. This can be used to reliably upload 100s of files in one go with 100s of Megabytes. Connect with FTP allows a third party File Transfer Protocol program to connect to the files stored in the Document Manager.

A similar set of functions exist for downloading files. A simple single file download can be used. The contents of an entire file folder can be downloaded in one go (requires Java). And you can connect to the files in the Document Manager via a third party FTP program for bulk download and local synchronization.

The Document Manager can easily be added to a workgroup and implemented online without any intervention required from WebPac.
